Apparently we have a full on Tell Your Tale special available today for you all to check out. According to the uploader on Youtube, this is the final one that they will be posting that is fully animated. Enjoy the series finale I guess!
We have a LOT of concept art being released lately, with Misty as the big one showing off her development, along with a bunch of portraits and things from both Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale.
Go get it all below as always!
Beanmouth, Calarts, whatever you want to call it, Tell Your Tale's style was always a sticking point for a lot of people in the fandom. Apparently it almost didn't happen at all according to this concept art piece that has released!
Would you have been happier with one of these other options?
We almost had a very different Tell Your Tale if some of these other designs were picked! And that Ponyverse concept from a while back apparently really did plan to incorporate G4 characters for the 3rd season of Tell Your Tale, which you can find below.
Would these designs have changed your opinion on anything? I'm not a huge fan of the no-nostril option below, but some of these are really cute.
I wonder how much concept stuff from unreleased ideas is floating around out there on hard drives of artists that worked on G5 early on? It's pretty clear that they had big plans for Allura before everything was shuttered. We have a shot of her brother grown up today, along with filly Celestia and Luna, which we did end up getting in Make Your Mark.
Go get the concept shots below!
The last episode of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, "Slide For Your Lives", has been released. It is the final episode of G5, and by extension the final episode of the G4/G5 canon. This episode was written by Gretchen Mallorie and Amelia Fergusson.

Tell Your Tale would originally have had 96 episodes and 8 specials from 2024 to 2025. Due to the unexpected cancellation of the show, this episode will be the only thing resembling a send-off or finale that we'll get from Hasbro.
This is a viewing guide for Generation 5 My Little Pony media. If you're new to G5 or catching up on it, this guide should be helpful to you. However, it is not intended to be canonical and may contain errors.
A few days ago, the pony YouTuber Cxcd released his final G5 video essay, "How G5 was ALMOST the Greatest Generation". To my knowledge, this happens to be the first fully-fledged review of why Hasbro's strategy imploded, so it's worth a watch if you're curious.
Cxcd's video is over 30 minutes long and is comprehensive and detailed; this article's purpose is to outline some of the important information and arguments presented in the video.
The new episode of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, "No Place Like Home", has been released! This episode was written by Gretchen Mallorie.

Due to the unexpected cancellation of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, which was decided by Hasbro several months ago, its next and final episode is to be released on October 17. It will probably be an ordinary episode and would not have been written as a finale.
After weeks of rumors, we finally have some accurate, authoritative info to share. A representative of Hasbro has kindly sent us an email to confirm that My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale will be over soon.
The statement they provided to us says that the show's biweekly schedule will continue until the last episode is released on October 17, 2024. Although the show is ending, it will remain available to stream on both YouTube and Netflix.
On Wednesday, the Twitter parody account My Little Pony Facts shared an email response that they had received from a Hasbro PR representative. Although this post was pretty out of character for the account, it wasn't a joke, and the email is almost certainly real.
According to this email, My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale is ending, and its biweekly schedule will only continue until October 17. This means there should only be two episodes left: season 2 episode 22 on October 4, and episode 23 on October 17.
The new episode of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, "Attack of the Vending Machine", has been released! This episode was written by Jessica Silcock and Naomi Smith.

Last night, we found a marketing video published by the Mexican company PanaderÃa Licensing. This video claims that 2025 will feature yet another MLP franchise revamp, including a new show featuring "our most iconic characters". However, we also were informed that this revamp may already have been cancelled, that the end of G5 is imminent, and that it is unclear whether there will be any new MLP content in 2025.
Given the uncertain situation, this post is intended to address what we know and what we don't know about the future of Generation 5 and the My Little Pony brand.
We Tell Tale now. Is it a good one? Will the smoothies be smooth and the ponie be cute? Get this week's episode below.
