Oh, um, hello again, everypony! It’s Fluttershy, back for another editorial about something that's very dear to my heart—pets! Last time, we talked about some of Earth's cutest animals, and now I thought it might be nice to talk about choosing between dogs and cats as your perfect pet companion.

 

 They're both so sweet and lovable that it's really hard to decide. But maybe I can help make that decision a little easier. So, um, let's get started!

Fluttershy's Top 10 List of The Best Animals on Earth

 Oh, um, hello everypony! It’s me, Fluttershy, and today I'm so very excited because I get to talk about something that's extra-special to my heart—animals from the human world! You see, animals in Equestria are wonderful, but Earth has so many fascinating creatures that are just as adorable, gentle, and amazing. From fuzzy little critters that cuddle their friends to sweet creatures that always look like they're smiling, Earth animals truly are some of the most delightful beings you'll ever see!

Now, choosing just ten was incredibly difficult (oh my goodness, they're all so cute!), but I've managed to pick my absolute favorites. These animals aren't just cute; they also do amazing things that warm my heart—like helping flowers grow, cuddling each other to sleep, or simply being sweet, gentle souls. So, if you love animals as much as I do, please join me as I share Fluttershy’s Top 10 Best Earth Creatures Ever—I promise it'll make your day brighter and your heart flutter with joy!

 

EQD Gives Up. The Robots Won. We Will Now Assimilate

 

As I delete my 1000th AI art submission in the email box that someone "totally drew" and that "definitely doesn't have an extra leg", I've decided to... quit trying! That's right! Almost 15 years later I'm throwing in the towel. Starting at 5:00 AM on April 1st in whatever time zone I am in right now with Arizona's lack of Daylight Savings, AI will take control of EQD replacing me as your supreme leader of all things poni.

Expect super high quality articles with the absolute best art imaginable (if you ignore the mangled cutiemarks at least.) My job will be automated away like everyone else's as our robot overlords take over and we uhh... starve or something. I know we were supposed to be freed up and thrust into a utopian world with no work and pure human creativity via the rise of robotics, but it seems they decided to start at automating that side of humanity first. Who would have thought?

So, good citizens of Equestria Daily...  enjoy human made content while you can. The AI takeover starts soon. You will be bombarded with it. For hours in fact. Just like every other April 1st here on EQD.  Because I don't know how to not go overboard. I gave the AI full control. A nonstop flood of slop. You're gonna like it too. You will embrace the robots. You might not think you will, but someone on Reddit said you will have no choice at all. You won't even know it's happening.

There were rocks in the older gen pony shows.  I am still working through my new g1 course packet,  so I don't know exactly what kind of role they played, but I'm sure it was critical to the success of the series.  Did you know Tom in particular showed up multiple times?  He was their "Derpy", but none of them really picked up on it.  Kind of sad really...  So much potential lost. 

Anyway, this awesome new TOM plushie has joined the ranks of epic g4 customs.  Just look at those details!  Seriously Hasbro, you need to pick up on this.  I already broke five monitors trying to throw money at the screen.

So, our new overlords tell us g1 ponies are pretty freakin metal.  Like seriously hardcore metal.  The image above should give you an idea of how metal hardcore is.  If you suck at learning visually though, its like diamonds mixed with titanium injected into a nuclear missile and launched into a volcano; that's how metal G1 ponies are.  Why did we ever doubt them?

150,000,000 Great and Powerful Hits!

With the return of our Great and Powerful overlord (or at least the confirmation that she wasn't eaten by timberwolves), the 150,000,000 celebration sort of got pushed to the back of the line!  She stole the spotlight once again!

This last 50 million was ridiculously fast though.  I honestly didn't even realize we were close until a few days ago.  Considering EQD really doesn't cover the entire brony spectrum, it is incredibly impressive to see how much the entire community has grown.  I don't think any other fandom has ever created so much buzz, and with such an odd primary subject matter too!   A lot of you have been asking for our Google Analytics unique IP charts, so have one! That is just the last four months right there.   It's madness I say!

This site in itself is a bit different than your average blog.  Hopefully our goofyness keeps you all entertained.  The EQD staffers and I usually joke around about how serious business pony is becoming.  In the end though, this is a fandom about colorful cartoon horses and an awesome world to play with.  We want to keep it fun, not become the CNN/Reuters/(insert global news agency) of ponies.  If something needs to be strict and rigid, we roll with it; but for the most part, lighthearted and flexible just gives better vibes!

Anyway, onward to 200 million and beyond!
