We had 9 seasons of friendship is magic, and while plenty of ponies hooked up in the background, only Pinkie Pie ever actually got with anyone with complete confirmation. And that was way after everything was over.
How do you think the fandom would have reacted if ponies were shipped off in the middle of it all? Would it be a Twilacorn level event? Would we have seen bronies freaking out as their waifus are shipped off to happy lives?

Printing major fanfics is pretty common in the pony fandom, and we've got another kickstarted for fans of "The Maretian". It already hit the goal of $7,500 with a whopping 23 days to go, but you can of course hop on board and order one as well if you want it.

Suddenly, there were ponies. No place was safe. Memes on a scale no one had ever dealt with before, all starring colorful ponies from a kids cartoon! And all of it came from... 4chan?
That's what the end of 2010 was like, and now the source of the madness has risen from its grave to once again spam the internet with content that will spark both outrage and overwhelming trends that everyone will claim came from Reddit instead. Truly we have been blessed... or something.
Anyway, /mlp/ is back. It might die again as they fix things. That was the plan at least according to mods yesterday.

The Netflix saga continues, with Friendship is Magic popping up on there again today. Oddly enough, only the first episode of each of the first four seasons is actually listed as of me making this post. It's possible they are still being uploaded though.
How long will it last this time? I suppose we wait and see!

After being down since April 24th, it looks like we might be seeing the return of 4chan some time next week. At least in read only form according to senior moderator GrapeApe who has been releasing status updates on it over the past week.
On Sunday or Monday it will most likely enter read only mode, and experience plenty of downtime after once things get chugging again as their new servers spin up and bugs are squashed.
On the pony front, that means the return of /mlp/, and all the threads within finally escaping the clutches of alt-chan sites that were not too happy about the flood of pony content, or at least pony content they disagreed with.
