It's time once again to review some plushies! Symbiote has been flooding us all with amazing characters that no other plushie line has really done justice, and it's about time all these years later.
This follows Luna if you missed that review a while back. We also interviewed their CEO, which you can read all about over here.
Today is Celestia and Octavia. Are you prepared for these Canterlot horses? Go get them below!
Here are some shots of everyone's favorite sun pone from various angles. As you can she, shes very detailed with her full regalia included, via the crown, necklace, and shoes. And as is tradition for the royal sisters, her mane is massive and covers everything from the right side. She also has a super hefty tail, as you can see from how thick it is.
The embroidery on her is top notch, from the gem on her neck piece to
the outlines of her hoof boot things. And of course the ever-important
cutiemark. They definitely put a lot of time into making sure those go on smoothly, along with keeping it accurate.
Like Luna, she has articulated wings with a wire in them, so you can fold them back or have them spread out. Her slippers also cover the entire hoof which is a nice touch. There were some older plushies back in the day that did not do that for whatever reason. It always confused me since I assumed it would be easier than just having a loop in there.
And finally, a size comparison. Celestia is HUGE. They definitely did her justice in that department. She towers over Octavia, and is a few inches taller than Luna.
All in all, I love Celestia. Usually a plushie of her from the fandom would run you in the $500 range, so it's super nice to have access to one of this quality at $50
Octavia uses their traditional mare pattern, and she wears it well. Her trademark mane and tail are included, along with her necktie. Like Celestia, she features top notch embroidery.
Even the lines of her mane are embroidered, which is a nice touch. And the tag for all the sticklers out there.

And that about covers it for these two! If you want a Celestia or Octavia, head on over to these links to pick them up assuming they are in stock:
