Source What do you think happened to the other races than pony in between G4 and G5? Are they still around? Did they lose magic like the ponies did?
With Secrets of Starlight intruducing us to a couple of new races (with Allura and the Auroricorns), I think there is some chance we start to see more and more races introduced to G5. That brings up the question of if we will see some familiar races from G4 come back again (Kirin, Griffon, Hippogriff, etc.) It would be interesting to see if there is an attempt at a lore dump in the years between G4 and G5 for them.
Personally, I don't think they would have lost magic at all. It doesn't seem like they play by the same rules as ponies do in Equestria (at least that's my impression from G4). But they could easily have had their own struggles and challenges, and if you want to consider Chapter 10 of the comics to be cannon in any way, many have their own champions.
Also I just want an excuse to see more Kirins and Kirin art :P
What do you think? Discuss Below.

[Comedy][Adventure]
Author: MuggonnyDescription: In the city of Maretropolis, superheroes and supervillains aren't that uncommon. In fact, it's expected of the average resident to encounter some super-powered maniac at least once per month. Many of these villains have their reasons. Whether it's greed or to exact revenge, their motives are perfectly understandable.
Enter Pink Scorch. She has been in the anti-hero game for a while, only choosing to fight crime when she crosses paths with it. She's even had a few rundowns with villains, all of which she could relate to to some degree or another.
This newest villain, however, has her stumped. They spray juice everywhere, complain about poor dieting choices, and wreak havoc among taxpayers—all in the name of good health.
Her name is Juice Mare, and nothing about her makes any sense.
