It's that time once again for Nightmare Night! Which means Second Life is filled with events for ponies to earn awesome costumes and outfits from. Some are tied to pretty epic grinds, and others are super easy to swoop in and acquire with little effort.
If you have no idea what OpenPony is, check out our announcement for it. I also created a video guide to make one in about 20 minutes, which I'll include below.
Now go get your breakdown of events for OpenPony outfit rewards below!
Go Make a Popen!
Luna's Empire
Luna's Empire continues the game from last year with a MASSIVE expansion. Run around and capture ghosts with your ghost busting equipment in a variety of classes from hunters that get a bonus for ghost slaying to healers that de-goo other ghost catchers. There are more boss battles outside of the giant slime guy from last year, along with a ton of new smaller enemies that you can call people over to help with via the pingable map everyone has equipped now. There are lots of ways to get lots of candy for their pricy rewards!
The Rewards
Luna's Empire has a plethora of rewards from a TON of different creators, along with stuff that isn't for OpenPony since they cater to all Second Life players. These are the big draw pieces this year though! Expect three more to be added by the end of the month. Each of these new costumes ranges from 45000 candy, to 50000 candy. They also have the stuff from last year available either for cheaper or in the case of the Mercy outfit and guard armor, the same.
Ponyville
Ponyville continues the tradition they started at the beginning with a Trick-Or-Treat game you can complete daily. Wander the haunted streets of everyone's favorite cartoon equine town, knocking on doors, getting pranks, or getting launched to other dimensions where this time they hide a few extra doors to get candy out of, along with the usual bowls for a big one time bonus.
The Rewards
Ponyville is rockin a bunch of new outfits this year, covering everything from ancient egyption to vampire hunter. You can also pick up these neat statues for your house, or just to slap down in the middle of a sim to confuse people. Like Luna's Empire, all of last year's costumes are also available for cheaper.
Neighberry
Neighberry continues the trend of slaying fruit or collecting ground spawns of candy for a variety of gaming-themed rewards. They have a few new mane & tail styles, and new weapons that I haven't managed to earn yet, but I'll update the post once I do! For now, most of their stuff is still on the old post.
Grindwise, if you are low on time, these are by far the easiest to earn. They don't cost a ton of candy compared to what you get out of slaying fruit monsters, so it's a good place for new players to go if you haven't gotten many outfits for your popen yet.
