The last episode of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, "Slide For Your Lives", has been released. It is the final episode of G5, and by extension the final episode of the G4/G5 canon. This episode was written by Gretchen Mallorie and Amelia Fergusson.

Tell Your Tale would originally have had 96 episodes and 8 specials from 2024 to 2025. Due to the unexpected cancellation of the show, this episode will be the only thing resembling a send-off or finale that we'll get from Hasbro.
At time of writing, the only known upcoming G5 content is the second and third issues of the My Little Pony: The Storm of Zephyr Heights comics, which will be released on October 30 and November 20 respectively.
We still don't know why Hasbro abruptly ended the production of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, instead of letting the contracts that they had already paid for run their course. Some of the people who were laid off had only been hired in January 2024, the month before the show was cancelled, so the decision was clearly very sudden, but it's not clear if we'll ever find out what really happened.
If you'd like to share some thoughts with Hasbro, for example by telling them you really enjoyed the story and hope they continue it in the future, you can contact them online through their customer support portal (or its international versions). If you do this, be nice to them, and keep in mind that the person who initially reads your message won't have directly worked on MLP.
