OpenPony is one of the few areas of the fandom still growing exponentially as more people delve into the ridiculously complex world of figuring out how to make one via the very oldschool Second Life UI. Because of this, there are constant events! Recently a big photo-shoot set dedicated to making adorable cartoon ponies was set up by a popen named Neri, and everyone got their renaissance on with armor, weapons, wizard outfits, and more.
