There's been a lot of speculation and news about the future of MLP and a potential "G6" going around. Some of it is more or less confirmed, and some of it has been debunked. The question is though, what direction would you like My Little Pony as a franchise to go in? What would you like to see in 2025, 2026, and beyond?
I'm sure I've asked this question before, but with all of the recent leaks and information, it feels right to do so again. Honestly, I just want to see a new original story. Don't try and ride on the coat tails of G4 and more like G5 did. G4 was good because it was fresh, and they are just as capable of making a new generation like that now as they were then. I'd also appriciate it if the show's toy/merchanidising side respected the older fandom audience, but that is maybe asking for too much.
Beyond just the show, it would be neat if they brand spread its wings a little bit. Have additional forms of content, like the old collectable card game (I like card games :P). It wouldn't hurt to have video games that were *a little* deeper than the ones G5 got either. Also keep IDW on board as long as possible, they do a good job with the comics.
