When I mentioned goose in last night's prompt I had a sneaking suspicion that certain mischievous fowl would be making an appearance in many of our drawings today. Let's just say Maud is playing it on her Switch to relax tonight. I always do love it when a prompt goes in a silly direction.
As for our pony count tonight, we managed to bring in 58 ponies which brings us up to 259 ponies thus far in this year's NATG! Keep up the good work, everyone!
While the silly is always good with ponies the fandom (and show itself) has always been able to take our pastel equine friends in a variety of different directions. While we have dealt with the emotions of uncertainty and being stuck in a difficult or fruitless situation, how about something a little more bewildering or nefarious? Today I want to see you take a trip into the strange or the depths of Equestrian high society (or something far more creative) as you Draw a pony shrouded in mystery / Draw a pony with friends in high places.

"Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one’s heart" (Proverbs 18:8 NLT). I wonder who's framing Emerald . . . I decided to spend some more time on this one, as I had the idea to have a background, and I'm pleased with how it turned out. I used the side of my pencil on the background with the original intent to give it a slight tint, but it ended up making its own grunge-like texture, which was a pleasant surprise!
