If the characters of G5 could go back in time to G4, who do you think would be good friends? Why?
The obvious answer is Sunny and Twilight working together in the Ponyville Castle, but that's maybe too obvious. A more fun one is Trixie and Sprout. I could see them getting along together as they are both old villains why don't quite fit the normal "sunshine and rainbows" character personality of the show. I could see them living together as traveling vagabonds, although Starlight has made Trixie settle down a bit. I could also see Posey getting along with Fluttershy. Fluttershy has a way of getting the rougher characters to behave themselves, and I could see a chemistry developing there.
