The Student Six were an interesting addition to the end of the show. A School for Friendship just seemed so odd and made the idea of friendship seem so clinical when relationships between individuals are meant to be more organic than that. Still, we did get introduced to a new cast of characters, all with their own quirks and personalities.
While they did add a breath of fresh air to the cast, with them being introduced so late in the show, I do have to agree with those who say they could have been utilized better. With a cast that was already pretty large, it was hard to find time for any individual member of the six, let alone the whole group when you still had the main six around, Spike, the CMC as well as Starlight and her adventures too.
