Have you ever convinced someone else to watch pony or join the fandom? How did it turn out?
I've gotten a couple of my irl friends to watch pony, and one of them helps me manage the Discord now (Grimlock). Sometimes it takes a little "presuasion" to get people to watch the show, but I find that the content itself can be very compelling :P. Sometimes you just gotta force people to watch it (lol).
In all seriousness though, I'd imagine quite a number of you have either brought people in or were brought in by someone else you know. In my case, I really just was already watching the show myself in a college dorm and a couple of my friends were forced to either watch it with me or ignore it, and they chose to watch it. They ended up liking it, and it's not really much more interesting than that for me. It just kind of took off from there.

Also sorry I have not been posting these as frequently lately. The holidays have been crazy, but hopefully things are settling down now. I'll try and be more consistent again. /)
