It's hard to believe that it's been three whole years since the first legitimate leaks for the released version of G5 came out. A lot has happened since early 2021. So the question is, how has your opinion of G5 evolved over time? Does the product we have now allign with your initial ideas of what it might be when the leaks first started to come out?
I have to say, I wasn't sure what to make of G5 when the leaks were starting. I wasn't even sure it was real at the start with the bed sheets and the storyboards, but then the investor meeting happened a few months later (which I suffered through hours of just to see a few minutes of pony x_x) and confirmed it all to be true. I was very optamistic out the gate because the movie was looking really good in the promotinal material. And it actually was! The G5 movie delivered a fun story with great animation, and I was excited to see more G5. Unfortunately, the early Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale material that followed ended up being a little rocky. It has definately gotten *way* better since 2022 though, which is awesome to see. My expectations were at an all time low though in 2022, and I was definately losing interest. Chapters 5 and 6 have me looking a little more favorably on what the series might have to offer this year.
