Do you think people are still going to be watching G4 in 10 years? 20? More? Do you think the fandom will ever stop seeing G4 as the premier generation?
Since G4 has been over since 2019, and it since it has gotten more difficult to legally stream G4 (Thanks Netflix/Hasbro), assuredly less people are watching the show now. In tthe fandom we still watch the show as we are all aware of it, but less and less new people are going to see it, and at some point many of us will stop watching it as well. I'd think that in 20 years not very many people will still care about the show enough to watch it much. This could also be a function of the quality of future generations though. Will G6 (presuming it happens x_x) be so good people get as into it as G4? Probably not, but if it were that good we'd all maybe have less reason to hold onto G4 as much.
