Source What would get you excited for pony? What could Hasbro, or the fandom, or anyone do now that would get you more pumped up for everything MLP?
To me, it's all about the shared experience waiting for more large scale content. Like when there are episodes on the way, or there is a movie coming, or something of that nature. There hasn't been a lot of that lately though in G5 unfortunately. I mean the new episode drops are always cool, but I can't help but feel something is lost when they just airdrop all the episodes at once and dip out for half a year. And for Tell Your Tale, each release isn't impactful enough to really build hype for me. I think the fandom could stand to benefit from more of a constant flow of content that is anticipated than this current model of release, so that is my suggestion. I think doing weekly releases for larger chunks of time would get people more excited for pony. Also tease some big project far out in the distance. We like to speculate around here :P

The same website that listed the Scout Kindheart toy back on the 18th has listed up two new G5 plushies. They have both a sitting pose one, and a long post one available for Izzy and Sunnny. Have links:

For all of you out there still living your wildest feline fantasy on Stray, you can now change things up a bit and be a poni. Both Derpy and Rainbow Dash are playable, but the mod also replaces all the cats in the game with varius cartoon horses.

A full year ago I started the "This Day in Pony History" series, and for the last 365 days have had a post up every day going over all of the interesting fan content releases, news announcements, drama, and other events that happened in the pony fandom from 2011-2018. Hopefully you all enjoyed reliving the fandom over such a huge frame of time with me. I know it was super nostalgic from my perspective.
Now that it's over, I'm looking for other fun series posts to do for 2024. What would you all like to see us dive into here on EQD? My brain is kinda fried after so much digging into the EQD archives, so help me think of some cool post ideas in the comments below!

Would you spend time hanging out with Pinkie's Family on the rock farm?I think I would, Pinkie's family is really endearing and it would be cool to spend some time with them. My personal favorite is Maud (she's perfect), but Marble and Limestone aren't bad themselves (Marble is cute). I don't have a lot to say about Pinkie's parents' but I am sure we could get along. I think I would like to spend some time looking at rocks with Maud, it could be pretty interesting for a time. Just gotta make sure it doesn't lead me to Ghastly Gorge.
Make sure to pack a lunch though, you don't want to end up eating rocks x_x.

Gameloft has released update 1.5.0 of My Little Pony: Mane Merge, a video game which is exclusive to the Apple Arcade subscription service. A new weekly challenge minigame has been added, as well as daily prizes (replacing daily balloons) and new stickers. The patch notes and new sticker images from this update are reproduced below.

In a post last week, the Youku Kids Weibo account announced that some episodes of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark would become available on February 1, 2024, on Youku, which is a Chinese streaming service owned by Alibaba.
My Little Pony: Make Your Mark will thus beome available on a platform other than Netflix for the first time, and will become available in Mainland China for the first time. Netflix is not available in mainland China, although it continues to operate in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. It is expected that at some point, possibly later in 2024, the show will start being distributed through additional channels, both inside and outside mainland China.
Trailer videos for the show have been made available on Youku; the first trailer features footage from Chapter 2 and the second trailer features footage from Chapter 1. (Unlike on Netflix, the episodes will not be grouped using numbered chapters.) We don't yet know whether the Mandarin dubbing used on Netflix will be reused for this release, since the trailers only have English audio and hardcoded Chinese subtitles.
Youku Kids also announced in their post that Youku users would have the chance to collect virtual badges by doing certain in-app actions like commenting or inviting friends to watch. Up to 999 users who collect all of the virtual badges could also receive a physical badge featuring the Mane 5. This is a typical promotional method for Youku Kids; other animated releases receiving limited-edition physical badges have included Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years and Octonauts: Journey to China.
Previously, the film My Little Pony: A New Generation was released theatrically in mainland China on July 30, 2022, almost a year after it was originally released on Netflix. My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale has not been released in Mainland China yet, although some of the songs seem to be available on mainland Chinese music streaming services.
