I am glad that Luna is healing. All of that trauma pent up inside and not being able to let it go. No one deserves that.

Source What's your opinion on male characters in My Little Pony? None of the Mane 6 in G4 were males, but with Spike, Big Mac, and later Discord, there were males involved reasonably often. In G5, We have Hitch, even though he seems to be the member of the Mane 5 that they like to make the least good use of. He has sort of been reduced to baby daddy for Sparky.
I actually really enjoyed the Spike, Big Mac, and Discord episodes in G4. They are some of my favorites by the end. Even those aside, I just like their characters in the other episodes. As for Hitch, I think as a character he has a lot of potential that has not been used. In the movie he was pretty decent, but of late not as much so.
Do you think the franchise is going to be more inclusive of males in the main cast going forward, or was Hitch just a fluke?

We are still trying to find a stream of the full panel, but a few people that were at the event have confirmed this one. Apparently over at PonyCon Holland, Gillian Berrow revealed a very interesting little fact about why we might not see a whole lot of crossover between the universe of G4 and G5. Apparently it all comes down to licensing and usage. Discovery Family still owns part of Friendship is Magic's show content, which lets them charge fees whenever a G4 pony appears in something like Make Your Mark. Twilight as a specific example needs to be paid for whenever she makes an appearance.
We will try to dig up the specifics on this one, but for now it does explain why they seem to light on the throwbacks. It's always a shame when corporate nonsense butts in on creative things.
