This Day in Pony History - May 6th - Tombstone Triumphs, Japanese Trixie is Adorable, and More!
by SethistoIt's that time once again for horse history! May 6th has been a pretty interesting day every year for whatever reason.
Go get all the major events below.

With the days slowly getting warmer and longer, that means we are entering a special time of year for me and for many of our art-loving friends out there: The Thirteenth Newbie Artist Training Grounds! As such, I am happy to announce that our month-long art learning event will begin June 7th, bringing the training grounds back to its early summer timeslot. We will have our usual month of prompts to give you all a dash of inspiration to get some lovely ponies and other MLP creatures down on paper, digital canvas and more!
For those of you who have never participated in our NATG events before it's basically an event where you can try your hooves out on creating art for the first time and improving over the course of 30 odd days.Artists who are veterans are more than welcome to join as well! Remember, you can never stop improving!
As for what sort of artwork you can submit, you're welcome to submit digital art, ponies made on lined paper, paintings, elaborate origami ponies, chalkboard ponies, animations, pixel art or even SFM ponies like we did last year.
We're pretty open on what can be accepted just as long as it matches the theme in some way shape or form.
Finally, all entries submitted for each theme day have to be a new creation of some sort. We won't be strictly policing this, but the way I see it is that if you're submitting old work you're not giving yourself a chance to improve so you're only hurting yourself.
Once NATG arrives I'll have a more detailed post on how to submit, where to view artwork, and what to expect out of the schedule. So until then, you guys have a month to prepare and make time for it, so get hyped, get those pencils or drawing pads ready and I'll see you all then. For any questions before the event starts, send them to [email protected].Twitter: Calpain -
A short clip from an upcoming episode of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale has been released on the My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale YouTube channel. It seems to be a montage of the Mane 5 doing various leisure activities together set to the "Work Work Work" song from about 50 episodes ago.
According to the YouTube Content ID system, the episode is titled "Ponytropico" and will be the 52nd episode.

Check it out over on Buzzsprout if you want to give it a listen.
