If you aren't aware, the current government over in Russia has been pretty hardline when it comes to anything LGBTQ related. We aren't going to delve into geopolitics here, but with current policies in place, it's looking like a few streaming services over there have started labeling My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as an 18+ show.
A few Russians have speculated that this is due to Rainbow Dash, but there are plenty of other nods to the concept of same sex relationships in the background over the seasons, including full on marriage between Lyra and Bonbon.
There isn't a whole lot we can do to fix this from a western standpoint. Hopefully it's reversed some day.
