Do you party on a deserted island with a pair of shirtless ponies today? A classic song was released for starring some of those early fandom stars. We also had a big fandom discussion about Filly Fantasia, and lots of animation.
Head on down below for history on 10/16!
2011
This was one of those early fandom gems of a song right here. The animation that released later made it all the sweeter.
2013
I thought I'd include Filly Funtasia in here since it was such a weird side show some people got into from pony. There was even a Funtasia Daily. It got delayed like crazy though, so I guess the hype just died or something? It never really did it for me with the art style.
And we celebrated Lesson Zero today with an editorial, because it's amazing.
2014
Shapeways was bringing ponies to the early 3D printing world back in 2014 with a few really cool little designs. They were super fragile though, as I found out when they sent me 3 broken ones.
2015
Simulator comics are cute. Have some CMC for a slow day.
2016
The ponies were papered, we had a cute pranky Celestia animation, and Top Bolt got the followup treatment, along with a lot of love for Vapor Trail.
2017
We got some stats for the success of the My Little Pony movie today. It did pretty average in the end. Of course it's still over on Netflix and a host of other areas, so I'm sure it made plenty of money in the end.
2018
Mares got legit again, with Rockhoof at the wheel.
