Why is it the case that Sunny's father knows so much about the past? Why is Sunny the only one who accepts these things? Is she related to anyone from G4?
I find it interesting to speculate about who Sunny's ancestors were. Perhaps she is in Luster Dawn's lineage or perhaps one of her following students? It is worth noting that every royal master and pupil all had celestial names (Celestia, Luna, Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Starlight Glimmer, Luster Dawn). Sunny's name is certainly in this vain as well. You could also argue that perhaps she is related to Sunburst, but that might be a stretch.
If she is related to the royals then it would follow that the texts of old might pass down to her in finality. These texts were all destroyed with the lighthouse though, unfortunately.
