From the get-go, Rarity always had a goal: to climb to the top of the fashion world and make something of her craft. Out of all of our ponies, outside of maybe Twilight, I believe she not only had one of the strongest character arcs but one that flowed the smoothest throughout the show's run. She started small, expanded her business, hired workers, and got her work in front of some of the most prominent ponies in Equestria, a far cry from her little boutique where she was making Gala dresses for her friends.
Not only that, but she always had nice moments of growth her sister, Sweetie Belle, which was a pleasure to see as well as their relationship deepened.
