Early Lyra and Bonbon shipping was cutest.
And on the bizaare side of the fandom, a person over on Ponychan changed their legal name to Rainbow Dash, which lead to a bunch of other people changing their legal names to pony names. It was a thing.
2012
Notch from Minecraft tried to take on the brony fandom with charity for the humble bundle. We won in the end, because a bunch of random pony fans beat someone who could pay that amount every single day for 554 years and still live like a king while doing it. Not to mention the interest he probably earns on that 2.5 billion dollar Microsoft paycheck probably extending it indefinitely. Billionaires are fun.
At least we get these funni parodies of popular media as a distraction!
2013
Today we learned about the Equestria Girls "Rainbooms". And that's about it!
2014
A bunch of assets leaked from the show today, starting a long trend of many a leak out of pony over the years. This one in particular was picked up by a bunch of fandom animators who started making videos with them, which people from the various studios working on pony weren't too happy with.
2015
We celebrated with the sun today. It was hot.
2016
Saffron Masala made her grand debut, and people plushified her immediately! I always did love this pone.
And the Glimmy chapter book with a really awesome name got her "Space time suite" changed to "Secret suite". Rip.
Finishing us off with the release of a pony comic.
5 years later and she remains unredeemed! Which I approve of.
