It's that time again to dive into fandom history! We have all of the major happenings of the 2nd of April today, following the madness of April Fools yesterday. This time around we cover everything from classic fandom animations, to a convention having to shut down due to threats!

2011
Before Cutie Mark Chronicles, we already had teasers of the mane 6 as foals pop up! Was it one of the first leaks?
2012
Hasbro officially went all in on the Royal Wedding branding today, with a full website dedicated to the concept.
2013
A classic fandom animation released today with ponies being badass!
2014
The first chapter of a Rainbow Rocks tie-in book released and people weren't too pleased with it. Luckily it was completely separate in the end, but even the director popped in and said it wasn't a good indication of what we'd be getting!
2015
The Russian fandom really loved them some brony music, and would often adopt them and create animations with the songs!
And we had another issue of the pony simulator comics today, a series that people still enjoy to this day with the occasional update.
2016
The Gift of Maud Pie aired today!
2017
Someone called in a threat to Whinny City Pony Con, forcing a shutdown until the following day.
2018
Not much happened today, so have a Maud followup with an amazing new mare for all of us that like the shy ones~
