2011
In the very early fandom, one of the first crowdfunding projects was with a person going by the name of Kanamai. They produced a bunch of cutie mark pins and were sending mass orders at a company to get them delivered. I still have all of mine. They were surprisingly high quality!
We also had some Friendship is Magic concept sketches that were super impressive!
2012
I don't think there was a season finale more hyped and advertised than season 2. I've been posting promos of this since these history posts began. We got another screenshot today with lots of hype for it!
2013
A popular youtuber reviewed pony toys today, and we had this amazing Derp She Is animation!
2015
A bunch of websites were under a massive DDOS attack right now, with many going down entirely for a while.
They tried to DDOS EQD but we were hosted by Google so.. that didn't work.
2016
Mcdonalds went through this...weird era. And ponies were included.
Hascon was also announced, and Doors 2 joins it!
2017
A Bunch of movie toys hit Amazon and other sites today, revealing even more about it.
Also that Ember/Starlight scene is still the best.
The Rick and Morty reference in the recent episode went viral all over the internet. Viral cartoon fandoms collided and it was ...interesting.
