UPDATE: YouTube finally replied on Twitter! The account is safe and all is well now!
One of the oldest VA's in the fandom who has released huge radio plays, loads of comic dubs, and tons of fanfic readings is currently dealing with a nearly unwinnable situation over at Youtube.
An old stalker of hers launched a bunch of copyright claims on her channel, which she contested. This gave the person filing the claims all of her personal information, which they are now using to claim other videos on different channels to make Youtube think she is sending fraudulent claims out. Of course Youtube is responding with completely automated bots that do absolutely nothing for this unique situation. I'm surprised something like this is even possible. You'd think they'd just disable the ability to copyright claim rather than close a channel down, but that's the threat she's dealing with.
You can help by being obnoxiuous on Twitter and other platforms to hopefully get an acutal human to notice. As is the norm for dealing with these megacorporations that monopolize our internet in 2023.
