Friendship is Magic earns an entire section on the website Know Your Meme, solidifying it's meme status. It's no secret that the entire internet was devoured by poni at this point.

Derpy invades a local Baltimore newspaper.

Steven Magnet is canonized in a new merchandise line. He's the gay dragon from season 1 if you forgot about the guy. This entire day was kinda dedicated to Toy Fair.

Equestria Girls was controversial when it was announced, but helped Hasbro with some pretty huge growth specifically from pony brand stuff. A category that wasn't nearly as big as their other brands outside of its initial offering back in the day.

These con exclusive cards sell for crazy amounts on eBay these days, and there were a lot of them over the years.

Equestria Girls apparently had some big cuts in content, and we never did get to see some of those extra bits. Maybe some day?
