Update: Apparently this post never published, so have it now! I'll have February 6th up right after it)
She was Inkie Pie before she was Marble fandomside, and she was everything from a keyblade master to a fast food worker.
Time for more history everyone! February 5th had everything from major fandom milestones to cosplay. There was good and bad, but mainly good! Go check it all out below.
2011
The fandom starts learning to mod custom figures to bring out background favorites to life. It's crazy how much THAT evolved over the years.
Madmax comics continued to be a staple of the fandom, with callbacks to movies a lot of us grew up with.
Also cake. There was pony cake at grocery stores now.
2013
Season 3 was only half a season, so we had no idea at all what we'd be getting in the upcoming one. Was 13 the new norm? Nope! Hasbro renewed for a full 26 after the massive success of the show.
We also got neat pony recipes. I wonder if anyone ever bothered to make them?
2014
Michel Morones was a kid that was bullied for liking pony, who ended up attempting suicide. Of course the fandom rallied behind him, and this was that era. His story started exploding on the internet.
2015
Starbound got a pony mod, and it was continually updated for years. It's pretty extensive and still kicking around out there if you want to try it! We also had a live action Daring Do crossover, because ponifying everything is important.
2016
Drag queens and cosplayers alike dress as ponies today!
2017
The NIA project that was greenlit on steam unfortunately closed due to money issues, then Hasbro shut down a Fighting is Magic revival project.
But we had good news too! A pony song hit 100 million views on Youtube!
2018
Them's Fightin' Herds dropped their release trailer today! I can't believe that was four years ago.
