Today marks the 12th of February, which means Toy Fair was in full swing in some years. Too bad Covid interrupted that concept the last few.
Time for History! Go check it all out below as always.
2011
We were so disappointed with our Toy Fair G4 offerings in 2011. I even went so far as to call it ugly garbage in the post! EQD was a different place in 2011. Luckily hasbro followed up with ALL the good ponies the next years, which you can find in yesterday's history post!
2012
Hell, I'll add it here too since this was a multi-day thing in 2011. We had all the fan favorites in 2012. Seriously read that post up in 2011 for how disappointed we were. Hasbro must have read it and delivered.
2013
The luscious series was going strong at this point, and this threw a parody at it~
2014
Pony gaming was in full swing, and this one went BATS
2015
The Friendship is Magic collection was revealed, and it was super popular around the fandom. We also got those neat Diamond Select figures, even if Pinkie's eyes were completely ridiculous in this stock image. Who took that and said "This is fine.."?
2016
BrutalWeather animations are always amazing. This was the start! Show style + was an easy title to give these.
2017
I haven't posted many music options in these history posts, mainly because their links are long since dead for whatever reason. This was a cute one with Pinkie though based on Here on the Moon!
2018
This sunset is what made me buy a lifesize plushie in the end. Something about it made the concept so appealing.
I also love that Chrysalis comic, so shes joining too!
