As a little kid there was always something magical about the first day of school. Being a teacher it was a bit different, terrifying even. It has been one heck of a year and I had thought I'd made it and was ready for next year but unfortunately, I will not be teaching next year as the school decided to not renew my contract.
It was a big blow to me and I am sad to leave my job teaching, but I have other avenues I can explore. I could teach elsewhere but after the pain of designing my own curriculum for three classes for a whole year now essentially in vain, the prospect of having to do that again doesn't have me excited.
Hopefully something better is around the corner. In the meantime, I do have a Ko-Fi to help while I am jobless, so check it out if you'd like to help.
