SDCC 2022 starts on the 21st of July, and with that comes the usual pony panel that the community in the area has been hosting for the past few years. Hasbro doesn't appear to have anything planned for G5, so this will be the primary pony presense in this one.
It will be entirely focused on the brony community, with heads of various conventions and meetup groups taking charge to talk about the fandom and the future of it.

Bronies at the Beginning of a New Generation

In 2019, Hasbro ended the 4th generation of the My Little Pony franchise, and in 2021 began the 5th iteration with My Little Pony: A New Generation. Andres "ChiptuneMist" Casallas, Andy "FableCharm" Reyes (board member, BABScon), Hannah "Button" King (Everfree Northwest 2022 co-chair), Sylvia "Mom" Mondragon (Tijuana Bronies), Ted Visser (chair, 2016–2017 Pacific Pony Con), and and William "SteamTank" Barron IV (co-founder, Railroad Bronies) discuss the state of the fandom, with a West Coast focus.
