I've had a ton of fun photographing everyone's special snowflake ponies over the last few weeks and made a bunch of my own. Truth be told, I've been pretty burnt out on the fandom after 11 years of it, but really I think I was just disconnected. Seeing all of the amazing things people are coming up with has rekindled what I used to feel and reminded me why I bothered sticking around all this time. That and the model is adorable.
If you haven't made an OpenPony yet and want to give one a shot, the newbie starting area is still open. It's all completely free outside of accessories from 3rd parties, but in the newbie area alone you can find costumes, manes, and tails to fit just about anything. After that be sure to check out our location guide to find people!
Anyway I'll shut up and let people show off their poni. This is most likely the final gallery, though I might explore the concept in the far future. We still have a few more posts about the SL pony community in general coming up, so keep an eye open for that if you just want to see more impressive stuff people are creating!
