Tell Your Tale Was Better Than Expected

I think people are being a little harsh on Tell Your Tale. Now that it is out, we have seen a very mixed reaction from the fandom as a whole with some enjoying it and others really vehemently hating on it. I really wonder why there is so much hate, as I was very surprised at how good it turned out to be. Of course it doesn't rival Friendship is Magic in quality by any means, but it's still much better than I and a few of my Discord friends expected.
The new episode is especially fun, with a catchy song that I hope gets the remix love the fandom used to do, and a cute Pipp story for a character we really haven't had much exploration of. Really they all feel like simple little fanfic stories. They aren't big epic multi parters but they do give tell a little tale and expand on the new characters for us.
I'm looking forward to more, though I wish they'd keep releasing them in chunks since 5 minutes a week seems a little low, and after the initial burst it looks like that's what we are getting.
Where's All the Celestia Love?

Okay, this one is gonna sound super nitpicky, like, more than usual, but I really felt the need to vent about this. It's an issue that has been persistent for a while and I feel like it needs to be adressed.
Am I the only one who feels like this place just has a bias against Celestia? Like, at times this site acts like she doesn't even exist half the time!
I know I wrote an entry similar to this before, but I feel like the message didn't really hit across. Princess Celestia is one of my favorite characters , and she is also the favorite of others too. Yes, she is overshadowed by Luna all the time, and she is nowhere on the same level of popularity, but she still has her dedicated fans. The problem is that it seems she's never given anytime to shine. At every turn, she's just pushed to the sideline because of this site's apparent Luna favoritism.
Now don't take this as me just saying that Luna should never be posted and that we all must worship Celestia, heaven forbid. I simply want to point out the Luna shoehorning that has been going on lately, and the utter lack of Celestia here. Luna gets showered with all these posts and headers constantly, she is literally worshipped constantly. What does Celestia get? Barely anything. We could go weeks, if not months without anything Celestia-related! It really says something. And sure, there's Celestia Day, but that shouldn't be the exception, especially with Luna hogging the attention almost every day. It's kinda gotten a little obnoxious if I'm being honest. In fact, it was Luna constantly be shoved everywhere that caused me to really start disliking her (among other things). One of many reasons why I love Celestia so much is that she is very underrated and underappreciated, and that makes anytime she gets featured all the more special.
Again, I know this is extremely nitpicky, but Celestia does deserve just as much appreciation that her sister gets all the time. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this, and I think Celie fans should be heard. I think the only thing to really close this off with is, can we please get a little more Celestia here? I think it would be real nice if we did.
Friendship is Magic Miniseries Starlight Glimmer

For this miniseries we will talk about Starlight Glimmer.
She has come a long way from being the main antagonist in season 5 to being the principle of the School of Friendship. Like her teacher Twilight, Starlight must have had a challenge of adjusting her new position that was entrusted to her.
If there was one thing that can both calm her down and worries it’s her closes friends Sunburst and Trixie. Starlight, Sunburst, and Trixie have a bond similar bond that the Mane 6 does. Besides their own ideas and suggestions, the issue that could have been talked about is each one about their parents. It would make a good story for the 3 to talk about and settle whatever problems each one has with parent problems. We don’t know what happen to Starlight’s mother and Sunburst father while also don’t know if Trixie’s parents are together. This would another thing the 3 have in common and fun to see them with their parents all together.
Her ship with Sunburst is among the most popular due to them being childhood friends which are called Starburst. This would play some roles especially with Trixie and their parents. There are some who ship him with Trixie which is called Trixburst. This could lead to a love triangle in a similar manner as it did with Rarity, Applejack, and Trenderhoof. While Sunburst and Trixie bond very well but I think she has no interest in him perhaps she is not interested in him. But it would be fun to see Starlight trying to win his heart over a miss understanding. They both would learn and research new magic that have been forgotten that Twilight would appreciate. They both can help the other of their problems like with their troubled past of Starlight stealing cutie marks and Sunburst of why he dropped out of the magic school.
Hopefully we will see Our Town when the three go visit there during both their off time and school field trip. It would be fun to know what Double Diamond, Night Glider, and Party Favor have been doing especially who is running the bakery now snice Sugar Belle has moved to Sweet Apple Acers. We can assume that Party and Night were on a date which most likely they are a couple. Double is perhaps the mayor of the town and did a good job by learning from mostly from Twilight. They would also come to the school to give their lesson on friendship especially on how to carful on who to listen to and to forgive someone when they admit their mistakes.
Two stories that could happen is her taking another trip to the human world and finding someone to pair Trixie with. It was fun to see her first time in human form but with less of the freak out thanks to Sunset. It would have been fun to see her return while bring Sunburst along to explore more about the magic in Equestria Girls, how it leaked from Equestria, and other portals. Not wanting to see Trixie being single, I can see Starlight setting her up with on blind dates but end bad since Trixie is very annoying and self-absorb. That’s why Hoo’far would be a good choice which I mention why in a previews soapbox and he could work at the school as a history and culture teacher.
Friendship is Magic Miniseries Cutie Mark Crusaders

For this miniseries we will talk about the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Applebloom, Sweetie Belle. And Scootaloo have had many great adventures from geting their cutie marks to helping others discover what their cutie marks represent. But there were many things the writers could have added that were missing to tackling issues.
Out of the many colts and fillies they helped, the only ones that we never got to see get there’s are Pipsqueak and Rumble. These two are among fan favorites and we were all hoping to see them get their cutie marks before the series ended. Unknown why the writers both the show and comics never did it and not showing their future self’s. Wouldn’t be surprise they gave the CMC a real hard time to helping them.
Even though they are young but there could have been a time when they faced some issues that the show and comics didn’t want to use. The one issue they could face is dealing with parents. The kind of parent(s) they would be nervous in dealing is abusing their child. I thought about this after re-watching the episode Silence of Not Golden of Full House which tackled the issues of child abuse. This would show the CMC that there are some parents that are cruel enough that they are willing to beat their own child sometimes for no reason. I can see one of them meeting either a class mate or camper told them about being physically abused, promising her not to tell, and finally telling her sister about it to report it to the authorities. I know it’s a sensitive subject but it has to be shown in order to stop the abuse or it will be passed down to the next generation.
An idea that would involve a CMC and Mane 6 team up is them helping an adult find his or her cutie mark. It would be interesting to see an adult who was unable to get their cutie mark. Could only imagine how much pain that individual went through from being bullied and shunned for not having their cutie mark.
I really don’t see any point in shipping them since they are still young and have a long road of finding someone special. Although the episode The Break Up Break Down was cute on how they want to find their special someone and making a shipping chart of who send Sweetie the pie. It was sad for SpikeBelle fans that Spike wasn’t on the list. While SpikeBelle along with SpikeBloom are my favorites but Gabby has shown more connection to him. I do however have some favorites like for Tender Taps and Pipsqueak for Apple Bloom, Pipsqueak and Rumble for Sweetie Belle, and Rumble and Terramar for Scootaloo. Though I like them but there’s a slim chance of either one happen especially if the writers had made new characters for them. Who are you favorite CMC ships?
