We got a taste of G5 with the movie last year, but things havee once again gotten pretty slow on the cartoon horse front while we wait for Hasbro to kick it into high gear with new content in a few months. There are still plushies being made, music being composed, fanfiction being written, and art being drawn, but it's not anywhere near what it was back in the mid 2010's.
Do you think G5 will bring on the rise of pony for the 2020's? People loved the movie, but the release schedule for this is going to be completely different than the long and drawn out way we got G4. Is it going to work anywhere near as well for keeping people engaged for years at a time?
