Bronies React returns, with a blast to the past back to the oldschool first episode of the show. Loads of big names are in this one, and even some show staff love.
Check it out down below!
On the dawn of a new generation, we're pausing every now and then to witness in awe the creativity and activity of our community. The pony music scene is sure to explode once more after the movie drops and everypony gets inspired to pay tribute to it!! For now, let's savor this batch of the other pony music that came out in the meantime and that didn't get posted in a solo post...
What if somepony in the community would take it on themselves to remix the entire first Balloon Party album? That would be crazy huh? Nice dream... except it actually might become a reality!! I won't spoil the surprise any more... For now just listen to this first remix from Aventrix, of one of THE classics! The original melodies get covered and played with amazingly here along the fresh-sounding sounds and cozy atmosphere, perfect for reminiscing at past times! So cool that such tracks we grew up with in our early brony days are still getting love!!
For those who might not know about Balloon Party, catch up on brony history from here!
If there was one post type that never slowed down over the last big hiatus, it was plushies. You all love 'em. Hopefully we keep them going for a long time!
Now go get amazing plushies below, starting with this adorable Lyra.
[1] SourceThe Hong Kong branch of Hasbro ran an event the other day for the My Little Pony: A New Generation movie screening, inviting a bunch of kids to come check out toys, get fake pony tattoos, and of course view the movie. They've popped up a gallery showing off what all was available at the showing over on their Facebook page.
I've grabbed the images if you are curious about how it's being marketed across the world! It's a shame the US couldn't get some theater love this year, but it's great to see so many other countries getting to experience it on the big screen!
Check out the gallery below
I can't believe the movie is almost out. When we slapped thee countdown on the side bar I thought it looked a little ominous with how long it was. The movie is right around the corner though! Hopefully it satisfies our pony need. If anything it looks fun.
If not, we have the fandom. Get art below!
[1] SourceWe've got another big clip showing off 3 minutes of the movie! You've probably seen snippets of this one a few times over the last few weeks of nonstop trailers. This is the full scene.
Head on down below for some pony dance off!
Here come the critics! As with most movie releases, early viewings and reviews are inevitable. It looks like Variety is leading the pack this time around, with a full review of the movie from all of it's strengths and weaknesses overall.
Unfortunately it's also teeming with spoilers. Maybe bookmark this one for after seeing it if you haven't already? I'd highly recommend that! Apparently being vague in movie reviews for kids stuff isn't a thing.
Anyway, you can go read it over here..
For everyone else, have an adorable Izzy, because Izzy is precious.
Apparently the world of pony is reaching as far as it possible can this time around. G4 in comparison got almost none of this level of marketing. Hopefully that makes some pretty big waves and keeps this train going!
Joining the tsunami of brands, organizations, and other things celebrating new cartoon equines is the Girls Scouts, with a new patch released over on their website. The first 10,000 are free with the code MTLITTLEPONY at checkout, and it goes up to $1.50 after that. If you have a daughter in the Girl Scouts you better get on it quick!
They also have their own promo video and a bunch of downloadable coloring pages with various Girl Scouts signage along with it. Find those over here!
The Nathional Gallery over in the UK has an app that has all of the drawings available from the post we created yesterday, where kids are invited to scan a QR code next to classic horse art that converts it into a pony version. There are 10 available, all created by the original artist Rachel Saunders.
Go check it all out below!

Another Facebook Ad has appeared from Hasbro's sponsored section, with more shots at the dog and Izzy's Friendship bracelet crafting. At this point we are getting a few seconds of new stuff in each of these, but nothing too significant, but they are addingup quick! Hopefully they leave some mysteries for the movie!
