One thing a lot of people are noting about the trailer is how light-hearted the movie appears to be compared to the Generation 4 movie. In fact, it seems like there really isn't any big evil presense at all, which is understandable after some of the feedback from the previous one by parents taking their kids to see it was that it was too dark.
No big baddie to chase down is perfectly workable for a still very engaging story, but we do have a few characters that love making those evil smirky faces that we tend to see from the more antagonistic types. One in particular that still seems to be a mystery is Queen Haven here. From what little we know, she seems to love the glitz and glam of fame and definitely shows it off. Outside of that though it's all up in the air.
What do you think? Are we looking at My Little Pony: A New Generation's primary "villain" character?

A few days ago we posted a map they decided to include with one of their promo images of the Generation 5 Equestria we are venturing into soon. On it we see all three major locations that have been mentioned so far.
It's looking like this is not the actual movie map though. The trailer revealed the one up above. If you compare the two, Bridlewood has been moved north and center, with Horseshoe Bay taking it's spot rather than it's southern ocean spot. Zephyr Heights still appears to be dominating the Canterlot mountain from G4.
What do you all think? It's time to analyze it! Maybe this is a map Sunny drew and isn't as accurate?

WARNING: The Entire My Little Pony: A New Generation G5 Movie in Book Form Has Been Released and Uploaded to the Internet
by SethistoWell, that was quick. Someone got ahold of the official My Little Pony: A New Adventure picture book and scanned it to tumblr, essentially telling the entire story in picture form. My Little Pony continues to be one of the leakiest IP's on the planet in other words. Tradition is important!
For the sake of obvious major spoilers, consider yourselves warned. Fortunately, there is only so much 32 pages can really cover, so we still have tons to discover in the movie. For now, we get to play the "dodge spoiler minefield" game again.

With their upload this morning, Hasbro decided to dump it all at once in all the languages they will have it available in. Everything from Spanish to Chinese is available. It's pretty interesting to hear how they are tying the languages to the ponies.
Head on down below for the full list, with a playlist on the bottom!

Unicorn snot is apparently the go-to tie in for our release today, which comes in colors resembling the three main mares of the movie. It's actually body glitter gel, which is something I just learned exists today. Yes, I'm that good at living in a cave.
Anyway, you can get some over here once it's available. For now, they are just doing signups for the announcement once released.
Thanks to Sombra for the heads up.

After months of character reveals, a bombardment of teaser screencaps, and a slow trickle of information via merchandise reveals, we finally have a trailer to show us what we are actually getting! Honestly the speculation has been some of the most fun I've seen people have since early G4!
Below, check out the new trailer for the official My Little Pony: A New Generation where we finally get to meat Sunny, Izzy, Pipp, Hitch, and Zipp with voices and more in tow. Lets do it!
