It would have been nice to see more of Twi and Celestia's relationship when she was a filly. I wonder what the two did together to bring them so close?

We saw quite a bit of staff changes over the 10+ years of pony being worked on. From the very early on when Lauren Faust left for Jayson Thiessen to take over, to the Big Jim Miller era, pony had a lot of minds involved in it! Even the writers were basically brand new with only a few repeats every season. Hell, even a Hasbro Exec at one point ditched the corporate life for a chance to write some pone.
How do you think that effected the series over the years? Can you see an actual difference between the first two seasons of Lauren Faust vs the rest of the show for example?
