Lyra and Bon Bon along with Octavia and Vinyl are some of the fandom's oldest background ponies that were snatched up by the fandom and given life by the community. With Lyra as the eccentric one while Bon Bon played as her foil, the two have gotten into crazy adventures together in the community, shenanigans that continue to this day. With the episode Slice of Life giving them a prominent spotlight along with the surprise wedding of the two at the end of the show these two have certainly grown way beyond their humble roots.
