It looks like we will have an in-person convention this year after all! Everfree Northwest will be hosting their event on the 13th to the 15th as Washington State re-opens and the pandemic winds down thanks to vaccines. With the Canadian border still closed, a few of the special guests will still be remote, but you can at least enjoy some socialization with your fellow pony fans this year outside of the internet!
Check out the press release below!
After careful deliberation in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic as cases in the US begin to decline, and in light of Governor Jay Inslee’s plan to reopen Washington State this summer, we are delighted to confirm with certainty that Everfree Northwest will be happening August 13th-15th, 2021 in person at the wonderful Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Bellevue, Washington!
That said, this year's convention will be a little different than we are all used to. The safety of all of our guests and attendees is our top priority. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic recovery, it is necessary that we adhere to all local, state, and federal health and safety mandates in order to host our event. At this time based on current regulations and hotel policy, masks will be required in public spaces for those who are not vaccinated. While attendees will not be required to be vaccinated, those who choose to do so may provide proof of vaccination upon badge pickup at the Registration desk to receive an exemption from the mask policy. Those who are not vaccinated or decline to provide proof of vaccination will be required to wear masks in all common areas of the convention.
Additionally, due to the current non-essential travel closure of the US-Canada border, at present, the following VIP guests will be unable to attend Everfree Northwest 2021 in person:
Nicole Oliver
Tabitha St. Germain
Matt Cowlrick
Willa Milner
Sam Vincent
Scott McNeil
Chiara Zanni
Ashleigh Ball
While we regret that we cannot welcome these guests in person, we are delighted to be working with them to provide alternative programming in the form of remote appearances, virtual meet-and-greet sessions, and special events. As this is a rapidly evolving situation, the opportunity may present itself in the future for a number of these guests to attend in person after all. If and when that prospect becomes viable, we will be sure to announce it as soon as possible. Furthermore, we are excited to be adding additional talent to our lineup who will be attending in person! Keep an eye on our social media to see what fun new faces will be joining us this year!
We realize that with this news, many of our attendees' plans may change. And that’s why, for a limited time, we are prepared to offer the option to either fully refund any badge type, or rollover your registration to our 2022 event, no questions asked. For those who wish to attend this year, your current registration will still stand with no further action required on your part. The option to refund or rollover will only be available until June 30th, so be sure to make your decision before then. For those with Patron, Sponsor, Tree of Friendship, or Royal Princess badges, all perks associated with your badge will be in full effect this year, with minor adjustments to accommodate VIPs who will not be able to make in-person appearances. Additionally, Patrons and above will receive an additional $10 universal voucher upon badge pickup, valid for use at the Con Store or Autograph Room.

If you have any questions regarding the refund/rollover process or how any of these changes will affect the con, please visit our FAQ page [here].
We are so excited to see all of your smiling faces again, and are proud to be able to welcome you back to Everfree Northwest after over two years away. We can confidently say that while it may be a little different this year, it’ll still be the same Everfree you’ve come to know and love!
See you real soon, everypony!
