I remember back when Cadance and Shining were introduced that there was quite a bit of skepticism about their sudden inclusion to the show. When did Twilight have a brother and we were getting another alicorn? It took a while for folks to warm up to the two of them, but they have since become a staple the series has revisited from time to time and remain a popular fandom pairing in fan media.
