For those of you who have been in the fandom for a while, you might remember the story of Michael Morones that we reported on way back in 2014. Bullied for liking My Little Pony, Michael eventually tried to take his own life, resulting in severe neurological impairment. The community rallied around him and his family to support them during this trying time and now, seven years later, Michael needs our help again!
Now 18, transporting Michael has gotten a bit more complicated compared to when he was younger and now the family is looking to get a new van that will be more accommodating for him and any passengers helping him. Of course, new vans don't just grow on trees so they have created a GoFundMe to help pay for the vehicle.
While the fandom is certainly not as active as it was in 2014 I know we are still just as caring. If you can spare a little cash, check out the link below. If not, even sharing the story I'm sure will help.
