Nine years is a long time for something to keep expectations up. Especially a creative piece with so many people addicted to it's content and so many minds popping their skills into the mix. It's inevitable that some concepts might fall flat.
Have we been too critical of Friendship is Magic though? For one of the few high quality cartoons out there targeting the younger demographic, it id a pretty wonderful job of entertaining us. Maybe that isn't an excuse though, and it deserved the many criticism we sent it's way.
What do you think? Did pony exceed expectations for it's particular demographic? Or could it have done better? -
Every half-a-year I like to do a general overall Q&A/Feedback post to see what all you want to see here and answer any questions that might be bugging some of you. I missed it during the holiday season, but we are just in time for the early year one.
On Friday at 6:00 PM I and anyone else that wants to join me on the EQD side will be here answering any questions, taking suggestions, and generally discussing pony with anyone that wants to do it.
