So, fandom, which is it? It's pretty obvious that Friendship is Magic ponies have some horsey features, but they don't look like horses. Artists have taken this to the extreme by giving them all sorts of features from different "cute" animals, from studying cat ears to be more catlike or drawing them with waggy tails like dogs. If we start with humanlike brains for intelligence, where do we go from there to create our bootleg My Little Pony science experiment? Which animals would you combine to get as close as possible?
