Nine years is a long time for something to keep expectations up. Especially a creative piece with so many people addicted to it's content and so many minds popping their skills into the mix. It's inevitable that some concepts might fall flat.
Have we been too critical of Friendship is Magic though? For one of the few high quality cartoons out there targeting the younger demographic, it id a pretty wonderful job of entertaining us. Maybe that isn't an excuse though, and it deserved the many criticism we sent it's way.
