VANHOOVER PONY EXPO INVITES FAMILIES
AND FANS TO A WEEKEND OF PONY FUN
Voice actors, children’s events,
panels, music, shopping, gaming and more featured this weekend.
VANCOUVER
– Vanhoover Pony Expo is excited to invite families and fans of My Little
Pony to three days of tropical-themed pony fun this weekend!
Vanhoover
Pony Expo 2020 will take place January 10-12 at the Executive Airport Hotel in
Richmond, BC. Founded in 2018, Vanhoover Pony Expo is the only My Little
Pony fan convention currently operating in Canada.
Headlining
this year’s event are four fan-favourite voice actors from My Little Pony:
Friendship is Magic and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. Kelly
Sheridan (Starlight Glimmer & others), Chiara Zanni (Daring Do),
Ian Hanlin (Sunburst), and Brian Doe (Timber Spruce) will be
taking part in panel discussions, exclusive children-only events, and will be
signing autographs for fans of all ages. Kelly will be appearing at Vanhoover
Pony Expo 2020 on Saturday only; Chiara, Ian, and Brian will be appearing on
Saturday and Sunday only.
Also
appearing this year will be storyboard artist Tori Grant. Tori worked on
Season 8 and Season 9 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and also
worked on My Little Pony: Equestria Girls.
As
well as special guests, Vanhoover Pony Expo 2020 will also include a wide
variety of family-friendly events and activities. Our Children’s Room will
feature many kid-friendly activities and exclusive children-only events with
our 2020 special guests. Our Vendor Hall will have a huge variety of pony
merchandise for sale. On Friday and Saturday nights, Vanhoover will play host
to the biggest pony-themed concert Canada has ever seen. All weekend-long, the
convention will feature panels on a variety of My Little Pony show and fandom-related topics. Our video and
tabletop gaming rooms will be open all weekend for attendees’ enjoyment. On
Sunday, this year’s annual Charity Auction will benefit the Dave Thomas
Foundation.

will be available online until later this week. At-the-door registration will
be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Children twelve-and-under can
attend Vanhoover Pony Expo 2020 for free with an accompanying guardian holding
a valid registration.
