The future of Pony karaoke - panel at Czequestria's Winter Karaoke meet-up
Our top coder, RainbowDerpy, recently held a panel in Prague called "Ultrastar Play: a new hope for pony karaoke".
In this panel, RainbowDerpy gives a short talk regarding game engine development, difficulties caused by an aging code base using a dying language (Pascal), and his efforts to rewrite everything from scratch in Unity and C#. The panel is followed by a gameplay demo of the new engine (still very early WIP), called "Ultrastar Play"!
We're looking for C# / Unity developers mostly at this point, but we'll also eventually need UX/UI designers and more! And, of course, we're still looking for song creators. Contributors can reach us on the MyLittleKaraoke forums, Github, or Discord.
