Two pony musicians with a lot of talent and creative musical visions, RoomVR and Zephysonas teamed up for Ponies at Dawn Skyward and crafted this masterpiece of a collab that works so well as a closure for a truly stellar compilation album. Starlight Sanctuary is themed around the power and beauty of the Night, and I can personally relate a lot, as I use to go on night strolls and gaze at all the many wonders around, with emotional music in my ears. We haven't had an open art event in a while. Time for a different challenge! You've all drawn a ton of ponies over the last year, but why not take it a little further?
A new trend seems to be taking over with ponies being tranformed into sphinx! I, for one, am perfetly alright with this.
Your mission is to draw any pony you want, as a sphinx. You can go the four paw route, the two paw two hoof route, the bat sphinx route, or whatever weird combo you can think of.
Submissions are open for a week. Get yours in before May 14th at 11:59 PM.
To submit, send it to submit@equestriadaily.com with SPHINX as the subject and a link on Deviant Art, Tumblr, or Twitter.

Hasbro has released two more tutorials in their How to draw Pony series, starring Twilight and Applejack this time around. Like the Pinkie Pie one a few days ago, they start with basic lining and go all the way to coloring.

In a sad turn of events that went largely unnoticed, My Little Investigations Case 2 has been canceled. Unfortunately as time passed since the first case was released this conclusion isn't surprising as part one came out over five years ago this month.
Due to difficulties with staff turnover and being unable to replace them fully the project simply couldn't move forward. Still, the hard work they put into the project wasn't completely in vain as the team has offered up all the assets for Case 2 in a download for those interested in using them.
