Derpy Day Ends!

And that about does it for the Derp horse. We've posted most of her stuff already, so it was harder to fill a day up. We've got a 19 day break before Starlight Day begins, and I know she's had a ton of stuff since her last day so it should be  more active.

For other days, check out the calendar. Chrysalis day was added, and she will be happening on the 4th of June for Cheese day.

Return of Patton Oswalt Confirmed in New Interview

We might be seeing a grand return of Quibble Pnts for season 9. Patton Oswalt recently did an interview with the Providence Journal, where he lays out a few voice acting gigs he has coming up. One of them is My Little Pony:

When it comes to acting, I'll be on the next season of 'Veronica Mars,' I got a lot of voice-overs coming up for 'My Little Pony' and 'The Secret Life of Pets 2.

There aren't any details aside from that.

Pocket Ponies Now on Android

My Little Pony: Pocket Ponies is now available via Android as of today. You can download it over here to see what all the hype was about during the beta. If you missed all the news about it, it's essentially a collecting game with an over-arching arcade game built on top. You can level up your ponies, unlock new challenges, and a host of other things. There are even some stories buried inside.

EQG Song Cover: Arabesque Sympony - Rainbow Rocks (Covering Daniel Ingram) (feat. Drummershy & Danilo Pantusa) [Garage Rock]

Arabesque Sympony and friends gathered to make a rocking cover of the theme song from the second EQG movie, Rainbow Rocks! With an expert drums performance by Drummershy that does justice to Pinkie's drums, guitar solos by Danilo Pantusa and lovely vocals by Arabesque Sympony himself, the whole cover pays much tribute to the Rainbooms and amps up the magic of music some more! Let's cheer for the musicians everypony!

Derpy Day Discussion - What She Means to You, Likes, Dislikes, and More

When one talks about Derpy a person is really getting to the very heart of the fandom. Created after the very first episode when a wall-eyed pegasus accidentally got into the background shot she has had a history as long as the mane six. There from the very beginning she has sort of been our mascot, and as the fandom grew so did her presence, her personality, and people's love (or hate) of her.

She's had her ups and downs over the years, but, like the fandom that created them, she has weathered them all.

So what do you think of our silly little mail mare? What do you like or dislike about her? And what would you like to see from her as a last hurrah in season 9?

Derpy Day is Now!

Today is officially Derpy Day! Talk about her. Celebrate her. Explain why she's the best fandom mascot a pony fan could ask for!

We didn't get a ton of submissions for it this year, but we've got a pretty good amount of posts lined up for later. So keep an eye out for those.

It's also EG day, so the morning will be largely that.

Anyway, go ahead and continue sending open art submissions and stuff! Consider the afternoon the cutoff point.
