BronyCon has dumped off some information on their upcoming cosplay contest, along with the fashion show. They also have re-opened press applications for any random news media out there that happens to be reading this blog post. I have no idea who that would be but it's included anyway!

BRONYCON ANNOUNCES COSPLAY CONTEST, FASHION SHOW AND REOPENS PRESS APPLICATIONS
(BALTIMORE) - The agents art BronyCon HQ must be masters of disguise in order to perform the mission at hand. And the most vital part of a disguise is the outfit the agent wears. We’re looking to highlight the best of the best of those outfits this August as BronyCon is happy to announce our Cosplay Contest and Fashion Show! In addition, after recent announcements sparked additional media interest, BronyCon is happy to announce that press credential applications have been reopened!
The Cosplay Contest is for those that want to show off their skills at the art of the dress. Judges will be looking for how well a costume is made in terms of stitching, crafting, styling, and more. There are four different categories for participants to compete in; Youth, Novice, Journeyman, and Masters. Judging for the contest will take place on Saturday. The Cosplay Fashion Show is for those that want to show off their creations in a more casual setting in front of an audience. There are six categories for the fashion show; fillies and colts for participants aged 13 and under, The Mane 6, Villainous Villains, Background Ponies, Fur Suits and OCs, and non-MLP costumes. There is also a separate category for those who are participating in the Cosplay Contest. More information can be found at bronycon.org/premier.
Finally, after our recent announcements provoked additional interest it's been decided that BronyCon will reopen press credential applications until the end of the month. Forms and press policies, which should be read carefully before applying, can be found at bronycon.org/press.
