It's always so wonderful to see such feelings getting expressed in descriptions of pony songs, and Ocean Melody's "love letter to the show and the fandom" certainly feels very heartfelt, with so many show and community songs getting covered in this orchestral medley! CisumClassic went all-out once more with this epic re-enacting of the Battle Against Tirek from the S4 finale, even including an electric guitar! With a composition of nearly 7 minutes featuring strings, choirs, drums and other percussions, it's quite a rich experience and tribute to the events of that finale. Quite a refreshing concept, this is not about Pinkie's dark alter ego but Twilight's, and seems to be leaning more toward the vibes of Lesson Zero. With a clear focus on melodic parts as well as building an eerie and dark atmosphere through the use of SFX, the song dubbed with the "Elements Of Insanity" tag is quite a welcome and creative take on a Twilight who's not acting quite as we know her. We're all mad here...

The pony music afficionados know all about it, The Shake Ups are a pony band that rocks! With glitter, rainbows, a good amount of the magic of Friendship and a dash of electric guitar solos, the band is known for mellow yet rocking tributes to MLP, and this one focuses on what we've learned for all those years, and how we'll never stop spreading the values from the show to make this world a better world! It's part of a tour-exclusive CD and I sure am dreaming of attending one of the gigs from all these lovely cosplay-wearing band members! Their other albums are available as physical CDs here and I recommend them, such as the awesome Ponymania and Rock Candy to name a few! Also heads-up for those attending Chicagoland's Whinny City Pony Con on April 5-7, The Shake Ups will perform the evening of Saturday the 6th and the morning of Sunday the 7th, more details here!

Everypony, this is something that you wanna check out. Pony rapper Ditherer teamed up with TCB on the beat to make a new album full of some of the deepest, most meaningful, thoughtful and emotional pony tributes around. Themed around either a specific character or the events of a specific episode, each of the tracks dive into so much character depth and emotion, expressed amazingly and with much heart by Ditherer's thoughtful lyrics and honest rapping, and backed up by emotional and gorgeous instrumentals by TCB, an active pony musician known for his emotional pony tracks and unique creative vision.
There's so much stunning work and lovely feelings toward ponies to explore in this album, so much musical wonders to appreciate, and so much to relate to. Some of the tracks are just so stunning and emotional that they made me tear up... I could praise this album and these musicians for hours, and I hope that you could like what they created as much as I do. You can listen to all the songs from Ditherer's YouTube channel as they've all been uploaded there along their lyrics in their descriptions, and you can download the whole batch of songs from Ditherer's Bandcamp. Saying that it's a gold mine would be an understatement... This is a stunning collection of pony thoughts and love poured into many hours of work and released as an album of stellar tracks... And I appreciate it beyond words!
